Payment and confirmation
Moss Car Rental sends a payment link by email. The reservation is confirmed only after the required payment has been received and Moss Car Rental has sent confirmation.
Prices
Vehicle daily rates are shown publicly on the website. The final total is reviewed before payment and may depend on rental dates, pickup and return details, extras, and the accepted booking terms.
Zero liability insurance
Zero liability is included as standard with every booking. The rental agreement confirms the included protection and any exclusions, restricted use, or conditions that may apply.
Driver and license requirements
The main driver must present a valid driving license and any required identification before vehicle handover. Age, license validity, additional driver, and document requirements are confirmed in the rental agreement.
Pickup and return
Pickup and return times, locations, handover details, and late-return handling are agreed before confirmation. Customers should provide accurate arrival details, including flight number where relevant.
Use of vehicle
Vehicles must be used responsibly and in line with Icelandic law, road conditions, weather warnings, and the rental agreement. The Dacia Duster can be used for F-roads where permitted by road conditions and the rental agreement. Restricted roads, highland routes, river crossings, and off-road driving require explicit written approval where applicable.
Insurance, excess, and deposit
Zero liability is included as standard. Any exclusions, restricted-use rules, and security deposit or card hold requirements are confirmed before payment and described in the rental agreement.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellation, refund, and change terms depend on the accepted booking and will be confirmed before payment. Customers should contact Moss Car Rental as early as possible if travel plans change.
